Emulating Amiibo

This section will go over how you can emulate Amiibo.

Requirements

Section titled “Requirements”
  • This section requires you to either have an unpatched V1 Switch or a patched V1, V2, lite or OLED with a modchip, otherwise this will not work.
  • This section requires you to have Atmosphere as well Hekate to be installed and for you to know how to access them.
    • If this is not the case, start by reading from FAQ.
  • This section requires you to know the different ways of accessing your microSD card.

Steps

  1. Download:

    Emuiibo

    emuiibo.zip

    AmiiboGenerator

    AmiiboGenerator.nro

    From their Github.

  2. MicroSD card setup
    Section titled “MicroSD card setup”

    Move the contents of Emuiibo.zip to the root of your microSD card. Overwrite if asked to.

    Access your microSD card by the method of your choice and place AmiiboGenerator.nro inside the /switch/ folder on the root of your microSD card.

  3. Atmosphere
    Section titled “Atmosphere”

    On your Switch, launch the homebrew menu and launch AmiiboGenerator.

    • There are 2 ways of launching the homebrew menu:
      • Launch any game on the homescreen while holding R. Recommended
      • Launch the album.
  4. AmiiboGenerator
    Section titled “AmiiboGenerator”

    Select all amiibos you want to generate. You can select all Amiibo by pressing ZL and going through the pages.

    After you have selected all Amiibo you want, press X to generate all selected Amiibo.

    Once generated, exit out of AmiiboGenerator.

  5. Emuiibo
    Section titled “Emuiibo”

    Enter your overlay and enter emuiibo and press R to enable Amiibo emulation.

    Enter any game of your choice.

    Enter View virtual amiibos and select the Amiibo of your choice.

    In-game, access the way to activate Amiibo and the selected Amiibo should be used immediately.

    Now you have emulated Amiibo!
