This section will go over how to launch a payload of your choice on your Switch.
To start, place your microSD card inside of your Switch, take off the right joycon and put the RCM JIG on the right rail and slide it all the way down.
If the Switch is on, turn it off and then power it back on while holding the Vol +
button, this should result in just a black screen.
If you have a black screen, it means you’re in RCM mode and your Switch is ready to inject.
Make sure that you have your preferred payload downloaded locally on your device at this point, this payload file should end in .bin
.

Open the installer and install TegraRcmGui. Once installed, open it. Once TegraRcmGui is running, go to the Settings
tab and click on Install Driver
.
Once the driver is installed, go back to TegraRcmGui, go to the Payload
tab and press the folder icon. Navigate to whatever directory you put your preferred payload in and select it.
Connect your Switch to your PC or laptop using an USB cable and press Inject payload
, you should now launch into your preferred payload.

Click on Custom .bin payload
, and choose your preferred payload.
Press Do the thing!
, you should now launch into your preferred payload.
Rekado

Go to Payloads
, press the +
icon, and choose your preferred payload.
Select your preferred payload when prompted, and you should now launch into your preferred payload.

Go to Payloads
, press the +
icon, and choose your preferred payload.
Select your preferred payload when prompted, and you should now launch into your preferred payload.
NXBoot

Requires device to be jailbroken / requires sideloading.
Connect your Switch to your phone or tablet using an USB cable and open NXBoot.
Put your preferred payload in your iCloud storage.
In NXBoot, select your preferred payload and you should now launch into your preferred payload.
Once the Switch is completely off, put the RCM JIG in the right rail and the RCMLoader in the USB port.
Hold the power button on the Switch and the +
button on the RCMLoader while the Switch is off and continue holding until the LED on the RCMLoader turns blue.
You should now launch into Hekate.
This section uses Hekate, make sure it’s installed on your device, but if it’s already set up with CFW you should already have it.
Make sure that you have your preferred payload downloaded locally on your device at this point, this payload file should end in .bin
.
Access your microSD card by using a ( micro ) SD card reader or USB.
Rename hekate_ctcaer_x.x.x.bin
to payload.bin
.
Place your desired payload in /bootloader/payloads/
.
Restart or power off your Switch,
Press the power button and launch into Hekate.
Once inside Hekate, press the payloads
option and pick your desired payload.
You should now launch into your desired payload.
